| Through accurate research and use of the most advanced technology, Tintoria Piana specializes in the dyeing of cotton ready for either ring or open end spinning. The present color range shows a proposal of classic and fashionable shades that have been obtained with reactive dyes.  Reactive dyes provide high levels of fastness to both washing and light. This allows the dyed cotton to be blended in the right percentages with other shades of fiber, including raw and bleached cotton, to create "melange" effects in yarns and fabrics. These yarns and fabrics created can be treated in the same fashion as raw cotton. The cotton Tintoria Piana supplies is personally selected after numerous tests that show the most suitable characteristics for the necessities of dyeing and spinning. Our dyed cotton is supplied in lots having homogeneous color obtained through passages in a blending room of each dyeing batch and contained in wrapped bales (approximately 550 lbs. each). With accurate knowledge of different market needs, Tintoria Piana specializes in supplying intimate blends of dyed cotton (available in numerous colors), blends of dyed and raw cotton, or dyed and bleached cotton.
