Polyester is a hydrophobic fiber by nature. We can make polyester hydrophilic to give non-wovens and traditional textiles new levels of performance that have not previously been available. When blended with regular polyester, our hydrophilic polyester will allow the blended fabric to wick moisture and allow it to dissipate. This blend can be fine tuned to give a specific level of performance for a specific application. This is a durable treatment so it can be used for performance apparel to give sportswear better body moisture management, geotextiles can control wet spots by allowing them to transport water away from a high moisture area and it can be used for absorbent products such as wipes and hygienic applications.
